One of the better known names among contemporary Christian music groups is that of Casting Crowns. This seven- member group is based in Atlanta, Georgia and have a new album titled “Come to the Well”. This release features the single titled “Every Life is Beautiful”, which was written for the movie “October Baby”.  Other singles on the album include “Courageous”, the hit single from the movie of the same name.

The group has a few tour dates scheduled for February, 2012. A few of the places they plan to visit include Woodbridge, Virginia on the 11^th; Grand Rapids, Michigan on the 16^th; Troy, Ohio on the 17^th; and Lynchburg, Virginia on the 18^th. In addition to recording music, the group also leads worship at a church in Atlanta most Sundays. They also give advice to youth leaders on how to deal with teens. The group’s management is based in Nashville, Tennessee. Casting Crowns recently won their second American Music award in 2011. The award was given for “favorite artist” in the musical category   “contemporary inspirational”. All together, Casting Crowns has been nominated six different times for an American Music Award. The group is especially proud of winning this award since it was based upon fan votes rather than a music panel.
