What about Lifehouse?
Posted by: Nikki in Songs and Lyrics, tags: Jason Wade, Missions, No name no faceI know the lyrics from “No Name Face” are great. but is the band a Christian one? I do know that lead singer Jason Wade’s parents were missionaries to Hong Kong…that’s kinda cool!

If you couldn’t already tell from the intensly deep lyrics, Jason Wade is a hard core Christian and every song on “NO Name Face” reflects that. Even Hanging by a Moment was written soley about God.

Just to clarify…Lifehouse is not a Christian band, nor does Jason Wade claim to be a Christian. He’s quite obviously been burned by Christians, and has numerous times openly admitted that his songs are simply about love relationships…of any sort. His songs have definitely ministered to many people and for that we should be eternally grateful. But just to avoid any misconceptions, though i’d pass the info along.

yeah if you really couldnt tell Jason Wade is a chritian he said it once but i cant remember where! the lyrics to “Hanging by a moment” were written about god! “no name face” is the same way!

I saw an interview where Jason said that he & Sergio ARE Christians… I also read about him ‘being burned’ by other Christians, and that’s why he stopped going to church. And the reason that they’re not ‘labeled’ a Christian band is because many people won’t even listen to your music because of that label. Anyways, whether or not he goes to church to worship, he still very much loves God.
